TEEN & Men's COUNSELLING
I’m not a textbook therapist, and most of the men and boys I work with wouldn’t want one.
I come from rural Alberta. I’ve worked in the trades, trained in high-performance environments,
and spent years building things with my hands. I understand pressure, responsibility, and what it
feels like to carry more than you talk about.

I didn’t take a straight path into psychology. I’ve seen both sides—the drive to perform and the
cost when things quietly fall apart. I’ve dealt firsthand with anxiety, digital addiction, and the pull
of a world that slowly replaces real life with virtual ones. Today, I work with boys and men
across Alberta who feel stuck, angry, disconnected, or under constant pressure to perform.
My approach is practical, direct, and grounded in real life. We don’t just talk—we figure out
what’s actually happening, what needs to change, and how to build something more solid.
If you’re looking for therapy that feels human, honest, and focused on real results,
we’ll probably get along.

My Approach
Most boys and men don’t need more labels—they need understanding, clarity, and practical ways forward.
My approach to counselling is straightforward, grounded, and focused on real life.
Sessions are conversational and honest, not clinical or scripted. We look at what’s
actually happening beneath the surface—stress, anger, disconnection, anxiety, habits,
identity, or pressure to perform—and work toward change that feels realistic and sustainable.
I combine evidence-based therapy with practical tools that boys and men can use outside the
session. That might include building emotional awareness, strengthening self-control, improving
relationships, breaking unhelpful patterns, or developing a stronger sense of purpose and direction.
I specialize in working with boys and men who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected,
or under constant pressure to “hold it together.” Whether you’re navigating challenges yourself
or supporting a son, my goal is to create a space that feels safe, honest, and
focused on real progress—not just talk.
